Setting up SMS reminders

How to opt in, what gets texted to whom, fair-use limits, and how to opt out. TCPA-compliant.

Opting in

Go to Settings → SMS. Enter your mobile number, check the consent box, click "Turn on SMS." We send you an immediate confirmation text. Reply STOP to that text any time to opt out.

What gets texted

Tomorrow's tasks — an evening digest of what's due tomorrow on your farm.
Calving digest — a morning summary of any calvings from the prior 24 hours.
Missed-step alert — a same-hour text when a protocol step has passed its acceptable window without being completed.
Event-routed alerts — per-event-type SMS to a specific phone (e.g., preg-checks → your vet).
Account / security — signup confirmations, login codes, billing failures.

Per-kind preferences

From Settings → SMS, you can disable any of the digests independently. Keep tomorrow's tasks, drop the calving digest. Or vice versa. Account/security texts always go through.

Quiet hours

Missed-step alerts are gated to 06:00–22:00 in your farm's configured timezone. No overnight phone pings.

Free vs. paid

Free is email-only. SMS is included on every paid plan (Starter, Ranch, Operation) within fair-use limits. Custom plans get higher limits or unlimited.
